STOP INSTILLING YOUR GOALS INTO YOUR KID’S LIFE. | #PERSONAL

HELLO, ITS ANOTHER BRAND NEW WEEK. I love fresh starts.

Monday’s are the worst because you’re just waiting for the week to be over when its just the start of the week. Who loves mondays? None. No one will ever. But sometimes yeah, cause you want to start a fresh.

Raise YO hands if your parents throw their ambitions or goals at you and ask you to achieve them.

So recently i was watching this show where little kids come in to sing. As little as 2 years old? How can a 2 year old sing so accurately? Let me tell you. They send them for singing classes as young as (insert age). When a 4 year old kid comes to sing and the judges asked when he/she started learning or going for singing classes – i dropped my jaw. The parents answers was, “when she was 2 years old.”

My question right here is: Why are we instilling our goals or ambitions to our kids?

When every little human is brought to the world, I personally belelive that they are suppose to have their own goals or dreams. Why do we have to tell them what they should be when they want to grow up? Every parent has a right, but are they taking their rights way too much?

Sure thing, if a kid wants to take up your ambition or goals as their own then yes. Its great. They want to fulfil your dreams/goals on their own will.

Let the kid grow up. Let them be what they want. Guide them. Don’t push them. Teach them. Don’t limit them too much. Talk to them. Don’t demand them.

So yes, this is just another thought post. I was just seriously thinking about it for days. For now, peace out till tomorrow. xx.
